Southern California Medical Group is a state of the art Occupational Healthcare Center providing quality medical care for all injured workers. We understand how important early diagnosis and medical treatment is for all injuries, thus returning the injured worker back to work as soon possible to help reduce medical costs and lost time from work. We always recommend modified/light duty whenever medically possible.

Direct communication regarding the patients treatment plan, progress and status is important to us. We have protocols intact to keep this communication flowing until the claim is closed.

Our physicians are available to provide company site visits and educate employers and patients of preventative measures to help reduce injuries.

Occupational Medical Services include:

A. Work Injuries
Direct referrals from employers or their workers' compensation Insurance Company.
Evaluation and Treatment of all work related injuries i.e., soft tissue injuries, fractures, lacerations (stitches), chemical or bodily fluid exposure (labs), eye injuries etc.

In house Physical Therapy Department
Physician calls the company contact person after the initial visit, provides a verbal status. In addition we provide a written status sheets for the employee and employer.
We will implement a custom protocol for each of our clients. Whatever protocols you would like our staff to follow, will be documented

C. Drug Testing
Southern California Medical Group has a state of the art Drug Testing Program for Employers. We follow strict guidelines implemented by the NIDA (National Institute of Drug Abuse) for all aspects of Drug Testing, Collecting and reporting.

Collection Site (if you have your own lab)
Complete Drug Testing Services (Collect, receive results and report to employer final outcome)
MRO Services (all complete drug tests are reviewed by our MRO -(Medical Review Officer)
B.A.T. (Breath Alcohol Testing)
